Recently, my wife Christine and I had the joy of facilitating the Christ-Centered Family Retreat for the Pilar of Faith Baptist Church in Cavite. This retreat aimed to create a space for families to reconnect with God and each other, ultimately seeking to win back hearts and restore them to the Lord.
The retreat wasn’t just about lectures. We incorporated interactive activities, worship sessions, and dedicated prayer times. These elements fostered an atmosphere of open communication and reflection within families. Parents and children were encouraged to share their joys and struggles, creating a deeper understanding and empathy for each other’s perspectives.
It was truly inspiring to witness families rediscovering their faith together. Tears of joy and reconciliation mingled with heartfelt prayers throughout the retreat. We saw spouses recommitting to their vows, parents reconnecting with their children, and families as a whole taking steps towards a stronger, God-centered foundation.
The success of the retreat belongs entirely to the Lord. We are simply grateful to have been instruments in guiding these families closer to Him.
